Variation to Contract (VTC)
The Electronic VTC system is intended to streamline the remuneration process for the Remuneration team in HR. It is an online workflow system which creates, audits and completes variation to contracts.
The Variation To Contract form is to be used for existing Academic and General staff where the variation (secondment, higher duties or time structure variation) is for a period less than 2 years and is covered by an offer of employment contract letter.
This form cannot be used where:
- The variation is for a further appointment that extends past the cease date of the current offer of employment contract letter.
- An employee requires a visa to work in Australia, or
- An employee is new, has had a break in service or is appointed to an advertised position, or
A Recommendation for Occupancy must be completed in these instances.
